CPW Is Having Money Problems

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is having money problems and they’re holding a public meeting to discuss it on September 25th at 6 p.m. You can attend the meeting via teleconference at the Gunnison, wildlife office, 300 W. New York Ave. and the Montrose wildlife office, 2300 S. Townsend Ave. A bill to address the budget issues was submitted to the Colorado General Assembly. The bill passed with bi-partisan support in the House. However, the bill did not reach the Senate floor when it failed to pass out of committee by a vote of 3-2.
