San Miguel County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating their first murder case since 1995. According to deputies, three women and two men abused and killed a five-year-old and ten-year-old girl in the town of Norwood. San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Susan Lilly says the girls’ bodies were found on Friday on a farm about a mile away from the town’s only school.
Investigators say the victims may have been killed weeks ago. Two of the suspects are from Jamaica and two others are from Haiti.
