Nuggets Officially Sign Millsap

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets are adding a big-time free agent.  The Nuggets have officially signed forward Paul Millsap.  Terms of the contract weren’t released, but it’s reported to a be a three-year, 90-million-dollar deal.  The 32-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Hawks.  He averaged 18.1 points and 7.7 rebounds in 69 games last season.

>>Nets Knock Off Nuggets

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Nuggets suffered an 85-74 loss to the Nets in the second round of the Las Vegas Summer League playoffs.  Malik Beasley had 20 points and seven rebounds for Denver, which went 1-and-4 in “Sin City”.  Torrey Craig netted 14 points in defeat.

>>Rockies Return Open Series With Mets

(Flushing, NY)  —  The Rockies return from the All-Star break and open a three-game series with the Mets in New York this evening.  At 52-and-39, Colorado has a seven-and-a-half-game lead for the second NL wild card spot.  Colorado’s Jon Gray opposes Jacob deGrom on the mound tonight.

>>Broncos Open Training Camp July 27

(Englewood, CO)  —  The start of training camp for the Broncos is around the corner.  Denveropens camp on Thursday, July 27.  The Broncos begin preseason play against the Bears on August 10.  The regular season starts on September 11.
